Welcome to the Hill

Devens disc golf course opened in June 2007 and is located on Shepley's Hill, an old military training ground full of huge boulders, towering pines, major elevation, tight fairways, and scary putting.

The Hill is a technical course and will neutralize both big and small arms alike, so bring every shot in your bag. The course is open from dawn to dusk and is free to play. All we ask is that you donate $5 every few rounds to help with our yearly insurance bill.

If you haven't been out on the Hill since late April, then you've missed our brand new tee signs. Thank you Mindy Atwood for your help in designing these works of art and thank you Mary Buchanan for helping install them. We've got Girl Power up on the Hill!

Mike Dussault is King of the Hill!

Mike D added another Devens Pro Open title to his wall as he won this year's King of the Hill tournament April 18. Mike shot a hot 103 (52/51), and won by 2 strokes, taking home a cool $170. Nice job Mike!

Lots of CTPs were handed out to each division ranging from Discraft DryFit shirts and t-shirts, King Kong DVDs, mini-kegs, and Red Sox posters. In addition to cash or funny money, each first place winner received a King Kong replica movie poster.

Between rounds, we held a basket throw-off CTP. John Tserpes came closest and won an Innova travel basket and King Kong DVD while Andrew Fraioli scored a Vibram Open Dubs DVD and Prime Disc prize pack.

Thank you to all who volunteered checking in golfers, spotting, and counting scorecards, and who helped make the Hill look awesome for her debut tournament!
